AUGUST 2003:
RATATAT, DE-REGULATOR, SAINTFACE, THE EAVES

Friday, August 29th @ Sin-e

RATATAT (featuring e*vax)
Ratatat is the latest project of E*Vax, co-owner of the Portland, Oregon electronic label Audio Dregs. The only thing they’ve released is “17 Years,” a bombastic old-skool electro jam that gets the party started like nothing I’ve heard this year, except maybe R. Kelly’s “Ignition (Remix).” If Cherry’s forthcoming album is anything like that song, watch out. With De-Regulator, Saintface, and the Eaves. (Phillips, Village Voice)
