In Other Band News...

Knife Skills recently got played on The Buck Calhoun Show, based out of Los Angeles.

Dirty on Purpose were a recent Spin Band of the Day... and the mag really liked "Cheat Death" from the Sleep Late For a Better Tomorrow EP.

Dirty on Purpose will be featured on Filter Magazine's Pssst! Compilation, which will be distributed in the Fall 2005 issue. Keep an eye out for it.

On the Moon Music CMJ 2005 Update

Hello OTM Friends.

It's been a while since the last post, so here goes -- there is much to report!

Knife Skills will be recording a full length this fall, and they've been busy writing songs this summer. By the stuff I've heard during practice and their last few shows, this shit is gonna be hot.

They're not the only ones hitting the studio this fall -- Dirty on Purpose will be venturing back into recording their full length as well. Everyone keeps asking me for a demo -- don't worry, we're working on getting those to you soon. But let's not get ahead of ourselves -- the band is releasing their Sleep Late For a Better Tomorrow EP on North Street Records on September 6! Yes, this baby is getting a proper release worldwide, and we can't be more elated.

In the meantime, both OTM bands will be showcasing at the 2005 CMJ Music Marathon in New York and NEMO in Boston. It's going to be some fun times, guaranteed. Here's the dilly:
