Dirty on Purpose Release "The Thing About Getaways" Today on RCRDLBL.com / Download for Free Now!
Dirty on Purpose's new song released on RCRDLBL.com today is called "The Thing About Getaways." It is the third song released from their digital-only EP, Dead Volcanoes, exclusively on RCRDLBL.com. They have previously released "Leaving" and "Hard To Tell You," and all three are currently available for free download here: http://rcrdlbl.com/artists/Dirty_On_Purpose/music. The fourth and final song on this EP, "Canned Fumes," will be released next month.

Artist Status
Cheeseburger will be touring later this year. They released their self-titled debut album on Kemado Records last year. They are currently working on a new single due out later this year and new full length due out in 2009.Dirty on Purpose will be releasing three more tracks for their RCRDLBL.com EP, Dead Volcanoes, in February, March and April. The first single, "Leaving," is currently available for download for free on RCRDLBL.com. Their second EP, Like Bees, was released on January 15, 2008, with bonus tracks on the digital release via North Street Records and The Orchard. The band will be playing a special Valentine's Day show with Band of Horses, presented by JellyNYC, New York magazine and Gibson. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketweb.com.
Gabby Glaser is currently working on new songs. Tour dates to be announced soon.
Neckbeard Telecaster will be recording songs soon.
Purse Snatchers currently have no tour dates. Just released a song on RCRDLBL.com for the holidays called "Christmas Lights."

HISTORY
Rock 'n roll enthusiasts Anna Barie and I - Jin Moon, better known as my blogger-alter-ego, Jinners, started OTMM in March of 2003 as a series of monthly parties to bolster and promote up-and-coming bands in the New York music scene.OTMM quickly established itself as a well-respected force in New York City's indie music scene by hosting unparalleled shows with bands like Ratatat, Fiery Furnaces, The Moldy Peaches, On!Air!Library!, Pela, Say Hi To Your Mom, Bishop Allen, Folksongs for the Afterlife, The Boggs, Awek, Dirty on Purpose, QATSI, Circle and Square, Grand Mal and more!
Gradually, the company shifted as Anna moved on to focus on playing music, and I moved on to pursue my dream of managing bands. OTMM's goal has always been to spotlight the talented, and sometimes overlooked artists in our community -- to really bring us together to help support the music that makes us gush, bust-a-move, rock out, and stand with our mouths open in utter awe...
